New and last Companion

"Today is the first day of my last transfer of the mission! I really can´t believe that this is the beginning of the end! Elder Briki will be going to Lorca on Wednesday and my new and last companion is Elder Alomia. He is from Colombia but lives in Mallorca for the past 7 years (islands of Spain in the Mediterranean sea). I acutally replaced him when I came to Córdoba and he ¨killed¨ my old companion Elder Mendoza as well! So we are connected in the mission, haha. His parents came in contact with the church when he was 2, so he got baptized when he was 8. He´s 25 right now. He´s a great Elder and I´m grateful that I will finish out the mission with him. He finishes his mission in May."

"We had a fun/late Halloween party in the branch on Saturday. The district president is a professional cake/other stuff maker and made a really tasty cake for the party."

Fiesta of the Nations

"We had a District activity in Alcázar de San Juan. It was a fiesta of the nations. Everyone made food and talked about where they are from. We sang the national anthem and some missionaries brought fried chicken, haha. It was cool"

I found this one on the Malaga blog.

Ciudad Real Conference

I got this off the Malaga Blog

A picture from last week's District Conference held in Ciudad Real. Attendance was 90.

" We had a wonderful District Conference and an Area Seventy ¨Patrick M. Boutoille¨ from France came and spoke Saturday and Sunday. He spoke English as well so President Deere and another church leader took turns translating for him, it was an amazing conference."

New Companion, New City

"I'm in Ciudad Real now. I took a speed train to it, in about 1 hour from Córdoba, that was nice. Ciudad Real is basically a pueblo (little town). The branch attendance yesterday was 21, my comp said it´s normally 15. In other words its very very small. We bless the sacrament and every week my comp and I take turns teaching Sunday school. It´s very different."

"His name is Elder Briki, and he´s from Gandía (Valencia) He was baptized in 2010 when he was 18 years old because his parents didn´t want him to be baptized. His dad is Moroccan and Muslim. He´s got a pretty interesting conversion just because his family is totally against it, I respect him a lot for making the decision he did."
"The last picture is me holding Arabic money left over from the last Elder. He lives in UAE because his father is a consultant for a prince or something crazy, with the family proclamation in Arabic on the wall"

Last pictures from Cordoba

This wonderful sister made the food below for Elder Kiffe.
