Visa News, Possible Temporary Reassignment

Well, yesterday was slightly disappointing, but also amazing! At about 9:30 us four Spain missionaries and about 50 others went to talk to the Consul of Spain. I know that my Visa hadn't come through yet, so I was there with my companion. The Consul of Spain is super nice and is a member of the LDS church. He explained that because only two ladies in the Spain embassy in L.A. work to verify passports and have to talk to people that walk-in, so they are way understaffed...But they started something new at the beginning of this year that should speed things along much faster! The other three Spain missionaries have their Visas and are for sure going there in about 2 weeks! I haven't received mine, but I know that I will, either in a couple weeks or a couple months! I know that where I get reassigned to, temporarily, is where I need to be, and the Lord needs and wants me to be! I felt the Spirit on many occasions as I have been wondering about my reassignment testify to me that everything happens for a reason! I know that this mission is going to bless my life, my families lives, and the lives of the people I teach! I know that this is the true Church of Jesus Christ, and I have received countless witnesses form the Holy Ghost about the truthfulness of this Church. I know that through living the Gospel of Jesus Christ we can have more peace and joy in this life than any other way, and that we will be forever happy in the afterlife, if we do what is right!!

P.S. You can make guesses on where I may get reassigned to!

Levi's Weekly Letter

Well, I'm really liking the MTC, but I'm also really ready to go out into the field! My District is now the oldest in our Zone! That's crazy! The mission has gone by so fast already! All those pictures are pictures of me with the oldest district that left during Monday and Tuesday. Last night, Elder Jeffrey R. Holland came and spoke to us for the devotional! He is such a powerful speaker, and he speaks so strongly with the Spirit! I could feel the Holy Ghost so strongly testifying to me that this mission is going to be so great me me and for others, and long as I give it all I have! He rededicated three MTC buildings, with such a sincere and powerful prayer! It was an amazing experience!
At about 1 pm today, while in our residence hall, the travel office paged the 3 other elders that are in my room to come to the travel office. They are meeting with the Consolet of Spain next Tuesday, I don't know how my Visa is coming along though. But, I know that if I get reassigned for a while somewhere in the U.S. that it is where I need to be! Thank you all for your support and love and prayers! I know that The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints is the one and only true Church of Christ, and that through the Book of Mormon, we have the fulness of the Gospel!

Over A Month Gone!

It's crazy to think that I have been on a mission for over a month! I'm really enjoying my time learning in the MTC, but I can't wait to get out in the field. There are 4 Elders in my district (including me) that got called to the Spain Malaga mission. Our Visas still haven't come through (we were supposed to be in the Spain MTC Dec 26th). So, we are all taking guesses about where we are going to get reassigned until we get our visas. I'm guessing that I'm going to Nebraska Omaha. In one week my District will be the oldest district in our zone, that's crazy to think about! Time flies! Can't think of much else to talk about. Two of the pictures are me with Elders that are in the Reno Nevada mission speaking Spanish.
