February 17, 2014 Alcoi and Benidorm

An official picture of Elder Kiffe with his new companion Elder Whitworth.

"We went to Benidorm this week to help the Hermanas find more people there. It´s called Little New York. It has very tall apartments and hotels right on the beach. A member drove us through the wilderness on an extremely curvy road to get to Benidorm. And we all almost threw up. It´s weird to be in a car after such a long time (especially on a windy route!)"

"We climbed up a mountain to a cross today and it was snowing a little bit up there on top! (it was extremely cold)"

Pictures from Alcoi

 View from Levi's apartment.
"Alcoy is really cool. It´s in a foresty kind of slightly mountainous area, and its quite cold
 a huge change from Algeciras"
"Almost everything here is in a language/dialect called Valenciano. Because its a smallish town, a lot of people speak it, but everyone still speaks Spanish too."
Another view from his apartment.
I don't know what this is.
What a beautiful picture! Not sure what we are looking at (except Elder Kiffe of course).
Beans? Or maybe it's the chocolate pudding I sent him for Christmas!
Not sure what this is!
Baptism in Alcoi January 25. The young man was baptized by his brother.
Elder Whitworth and Elder Kiffe.
Stake Conference in Elche. February 1 and 2. Levi got to go back to his first area and " Being able to go to Elche was WONDERFUL! It was literally like returning home after a long trip! I got to say hi to so many great ward members."
Out side the chapel in Elche.

Baptism in Algeciras

This baptism took place January 11, 2014. Levi was transferred out of the area on January 8. Even though he wasn't there for the baptism. Levi was instrumental in re-activating and teaching this family. The little girl had wanted her Dad to be able to baptize her, but from the picture it looks like Elder Proctor did the baptizing.
