New Companion and District Leader

"Elder Pomazón is from Perú but has lived in a town outside of Madrid for almost 10 years now. His birthday was this Friday, he turned...27!!! The oldest Elder in the mission! But he doesn´t really look that old. He has about 10 months in the mission, he works really hard and has many great ideas. I´m very excited to have a native companion again! Elder Pomazón knows how to cook."

"I´m going to be District leader. The first time on my mission! Its only a district of four though.
As district leader, every Sunday night I talk to our zone leaders about how our week was, and about how the sisters did (I call the sisters before) and every week that we don´t have a zone conference. We have a meeting in the chapel of Córdoba and I direct it and try to help out the district."

Food experiences and 2 random pictures

"I felt achy, weak and had a headache last night so I went to sleep early and I also took another nap today, but I still feel really tired. Then from Tuesday to Thursday I had diarrhea from food poisoning...so I didn´t work.  I´m almost positive that I got sick from leftover Bolivian food (piquemacho) that we ate in Sevilla after a zone conference."

Did you notice Henry Barrow in the corner of the picture behind Elder Kiffe?

Elder Kiffe must be feeling better. He's having toast and water!

"And we also ate snails! Don´t taste like much really, just a little freaky to eat, hahaha."

"Elder Warburton and I tried our hand at tortilla de patata two times this past week, they turned out pretty good, the potatoes were just slightly ¨al dente¨. "

Elder Kiffe didn't explain this picture. Not sure what this is.
